Privacy Policy
Light Strategy LLC — Dealership Suite Platform & Marketing Services · Effective Date: May 15, 2026
Light Strategy LLC ("Light Strategy," "we," "our," or "us") operates Dealership Suite, a software platform and related marketing services for automotive dealerships. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1 Information We Collect
- Contact details: name, email address, phone number, and similar information you provide.
- Lead and inquiry data: messages you send, vehicles you ask about, trade-in details, and appointment requests.
- Dealership account data: business contact information, account settings, and billing contacts.
- Usage data: pages you view, features you use, IP address, browser and device information.
- Communications data: emails, texts, and call metadata that pass through our system on behalf of a dealership.
- Integrations: information shared from third-party platforms — including Meta/Facebook — that you or your dealership connect to Dealership Suite, limited to what is necessary to provide the requested service.
2 How We Use Information
- Provide, maintain, and improve Dealership Suite and related services.
- Route and respond to customer inquiries for the dealership you contacted.
- Send service messages, appointment reminders, and requested updates.
- Monitor performance and create aggregated, de-identified reports.
- Protect our platform, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
3 SMS Messaging and Consent
When you submit a form or text a number managed by Dealership Suite, you consent to receive text messages related to your inquiry or account. Message frequency varies based on activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP, or request help by replying HELP. Each message identifies the dealership or Dealership Suite, as applicable.
4 How We Share Information
- Dealerships: we share your inquiry and related details with the specific dealership you contact.
- Vendors and processors: we share information with service providers that support hosting, email, SMS, analytics, and similar functions under contract.
- Legal and safety: we may share information when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety.
Facebook, Instagram, and Meta Data
- Content publishing: with the dealership's explicit authorization, Dealership Suite publishes posts to the dealership's connected Facebook Page and Instagram account based on content they have created or approved within our platform. Posts are only published when the dealership has scheduled or approved them. We do not post autonomously without dealership configuration.
- Read access: we read Page and Instagram account metadata, post engagement metrics (likes, comments, reach, impressions), and Lead Ad submissions for the dealership's own analytics within Dealership Suite.
- Dealerships may disconnect their Facebook Page or Instagram account at any time from the Social Connections settings page, after which we stop collecting new data from Meta and stop publishing on their behalf.
- We store Meta access tokens in encrypted form (AES-256-GCM) and do not share them with third parties.
- We do not use Meta user data to train machine learning models or for any purpose outside the scope of the connected dealership's account. AI-assisted post drafting uses only the post subject (such as an inventory vehicle description) provided by the dealership and does not send Meta-sourced data to AI providers.
- Our use of data received from Meta APIs complies with Meta's Platform Terms and Developer Policies.
4b Google and YouTube Data
- YouTube content publishing: with the dealership's explicit authorization, Dealership Suite uploads short-form video content (YouTube Shorts) to the dealership's connected YouTube channel using video files the dealership has uploaded or selected within our platform. Uploads occur only when the dealership has scheduled or approved them.
- Analytics and Search Console: we read aggregated property metrics, search queries, and page performance data for the dealership's own dashboards within Dealership Suite.
- Dealerships may revoke Google access at any time, either from the Social Connections settings page in Dealership Suite or from their Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Upon revocation we stop collecting new data and stop publishing on their behalf.
- We store Google access and refresh tokens in encrypted form (AES-256-GCM) and do not share them with third parties.
- Dealership Suite's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- We do not use Google user data to train machine learning or AI models, do not sell or transfer Google data to third parties, and do not use Google data to serve advertisements.

7 Security
